Sabres call up Rodrigues from Rochester

December 4, 2017

The Buffalo Sabres have called up center Evan Rodrigues from the Rochester Americans in the AHL. In order to make room for Rodrigues, the Sabres have sent Kyle Criscuolo to Rochester.

Rodrigues, who was injured with a broken hand before the start of the regular season, has 5 goals and 5 assists in 8 games for Rochester this season. Rodrigues looked poised to make the Sabres out of training camp before his injury, and has now gotten some games in before being called up to Buffalo. Rodrigues has 5 goals and 3 assists in 32 NHL games, all with the Sabres.

Criscuolo played in 8 games this season for the Sabres but did not register a point in his time in Buffalo. Criscuolo has 5 goals and 6 assists in 14 games in Rochester this season.
