In response to the recent devastating wildfires that scorched wide areas of Northern California, a number of performers-G-Eazy, Rancid, Dave Matthews, Dead & Company , and METALLICA will perform at the 'Band Together Bay Area' Benefit Concert on Thursday, November 9th. Bay Area Boys METALLICA will be headlining the show, and in acknowledging their participation in the event, Metallica stated, "We’re extremely saddened by the suffering that so many are feeling in the Bay Area, but are also inspired by the enormous outpouring of love and support from all around the country and want to jump in and help in the way we know how to – through music! With that said, we are proud to be a part of Band Together Bay Area, a benefit concert at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 to assist the families impacted by the fires and show our immense appreciation to the thousands of first responders who have been working tirelessly since the fires began."  The GOOD NEWS for Metallica fans is that the band's 75-minute headlining performance can be viewed for FREE as METALLICA will 'stream' their set on the Metallica YouTube channel and their Facebook page. Additionally, the show can also be seen & heard on the Twitter page for the Band Together Bay Area Benefit Concert. Donations for the relief effort can be made by clicking on the 'Donate' button during the live stream, and by texting the word TOGETHER to 20222. Contributions will also be accepted at Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation. Rock On, Metallica!
