Dead & Co. (w/ John Mayer) Will Hit The Road Again in 2017!

That "Long, Strange Trip" continues...

December 2, 2016

After The Grateful Dead's "Fare Thee Well" tour in the Summer of 2015, most EVERYONE thought that it was finally the "End" of one of the greatest, most iconic, revered, sometimes-misunderstood bands in musical history. Silly people! ;D

It seems as tho The Dead's Legacy would not go quietly, nor would remaining (original) members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, & Bill Kreutzman. The band found new life after the "Fare Thee Well" shows when guitarist John Mayer took over on guitar after Phish's Trey Anastasio short tenure with the fellas ended after the brief run of Summer shows. It seems to all involved and interested, that Mr. Mayer (a very accomplished guitarist!) fit in to the musical equation like the missing piece of a complex puzzle. The shows that followed in 2016 were wildly successful and enthusiastically received. So much so, that Dead fans were left wishing and clamoring for more! And, when the new year gets here, Dead & Company will keep rolling!
