LED ZEPPELIN's first ever 'live' performance took place 50 years ago, on September 7, 1968.  There were 2 shows (afternoon and evening) that took place on the band's short Scandinavian tour, and they were still being billed as Page's former group, The Yardbirds. The early show at Teen Clubs and the later show at Brondby Pop Club (both in Denmark) featured similar sets, including the songs: Train Kept a Rollin', Communication Breakdown, I Can't Quit You Baby, You Shook Me, Dazed & Confused (altho NOT from these performances, watch the video from the same time period--1968--for 'Dazed & Confused' below!), White Summer ~ Black Mountain Side, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and How Many More Times. This set list was indicative of most of their early shows. Reflecting on those early shows, Jimmy Page, in a December 1968 interview said, "They don't cheer too madly there, you know? We were really scared, because we only had about fifteen hours to practice together. It was sort of an experimental concert to see if we were any good. I guess."
