There'll be a New WHITESNAKE album (The band's 13th) coming in 2018, and singer DAVID COVERDALE has shared that the (probable) title will be, 'Flesh and Blood.' While there's no specific release date for the album, it is expected to be available in advance of the just-announced Summer tour with Foreigner and Jason Bonham. (see tour dates below) The new album is the latest in what's been a very active couple of years for the venerable British hard rock outfit... It follows the recent 30th Anniversary Edition of the self-titled 1987 'Whitesnake' album as well as 2015's 'The Purple Album' which saw David Coverdale re-visiting his tenure with DEEP PURPLE, and 2011's 'Forevermore' album. In a September interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Coverdale could barely contain his excitement and enthusiasm for the new Whitesnake record, saying "We’ve never had such an immense amount of positive material. The songs are f---ing excellent! We have 18 or 19 extraordinarily positive, potent, juicy classic Whitesnake songs from balls-to-the-wall to blues, to epics to ballads. It’s kick-ass. It’s definitely got me fluffed up."
