In July of 2016, Guitar Legend JEFF BECK performed at the Hollywood Bowl in honor of his 50th Anniversary as a Rock & Roll performer. He featured music from the very beginning of his career with The Yardbirds to his present day recordings, and he was joined by an All-Star list of musicians, including ZZ TOP's Billy Gibbons, Blues legend Buddy Guy, and AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler, the latter of whom joined Beck on stage for a raucous take on the  classic, 'Train Kept A Rollin'. Of course, AEROSMITH covered the song on their own on 1974's 'Get Your Wings' album, and Jeff Beck was absolutely thrilled with how the performance came off, telling Rolling Stone Magazine, "It sure was a great night for me. Fantastic venue with a long musical history, a song that runs through my veins and a singer who has sung it for over 40 years. I am blessed." In addition to 'Train,' Tyler also sang the lead on the Yardbirds classic song, 'Shapes of Things," and Beck was joined by Billy F. Gibbons for the ZZ TOP scorcher, 'Rough Boy.' And for the encore, Beck and all of his guests pay tribute to PRINCE, with a stirring version of 'Purple Rain.' These performances and many more are featured on the upcoming 'Jeff Beck-Live at The Hollywood Bowl' which is set for release before the end of the year. Fans can choose either a 2-CD set (w/ DVD or Blu-Ray disc) or a 3-LP (vinyl) version, also with a DVD of the show. The sets can be pre-ordered here. Rock On!
