One of the rarest, if not THEE rarest of BEATLES' items will hit the auction block soon, and it's expected to sell for lots & LOTS of money! The on-line auction house, Heritage Auctions (Dallas, TX) will reveal the item's 'reserve' price on November 4th. The '1 of a Kind' BEATLES item? It's the Beatles 1966 (American) album, 'Yesterday And Today' that is a 'pre-production,' STEREO copy (even more rare!) that has been signed by John Lennon (including some of John's hand drawn art), Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr! This particular copy had been hung on the wall of John & Yoko's Dakota apartment in NYC until John traded it to a Beatles collector for a rare, bootleg performance tape. The auction house has already received a bid of $100,000, but the actual selling price is expected to exceed double that amount, underscoring the Heritage Auction's description of the item as 'World Class.' (watch the video description of the album below) In addition to owning one of the most desirable pieces of music history, the winning bidder will receive a 'Letter of Authenticity' from a Beatles autograph expert. In summing up the significance of the item, Heritage Auctions states, "We don't feel the need to emphasize further the importance of this piece to the Beatle collector, or the art collector, or the pop culture collector, or the record collector," it states. "Don't let this one pass you by!”
