The latest development in the 'soap opera' known as "Van Halen: Will They or Won't They," has both SAMMY HAGAR & MICHAEL ANTHONY stating that they'd both be interested in, and would be in favor of a VAN HALEN Reunion that would feature both of the band's legendary singers... It's no secret that Hagar has been receptive to the idea for a while now, and in interviews over the past 2 years, he's been very vocal about his desire to let bygones be bygones, and possibly work with Eddie & Alex again. In a recent interview in the San Francisco Chronicle, The Red Rocker said, “That whole Van Halen thing is lurking in the woods out there. I feel there’s a sniper out there — any minute the bullet is going to come flying in that says ‘VH’ on it, ‘You’re it!’ We’ll see what happens. I don’t understand them. I haven’t understood them in a long time.” Ever since the acrimonious break up of VH in 2004, there's been 'bad blood' between Hagar and the Brothers Van Halen, with much of their displeasure with each other played out in the press. There still has not been any word (or contact with Sammy & Mike) from Eddie and/or Alex Van Halen, and Sammy Hagar remains positive about the situation, saying that above all else, he just wants to be friends: “I don’t want to be buried with any regrets or bad vibes like that,” he said. “It makes you want to be just friends with everybody and say, ‘Hey look, forget it."  We'll have to 'wait & see' where the next episode of the VAN HALEN story goes... Rock On!
