U2's 1987 master work, "The Joshua Tree" remains for many, the band's crowning achievement. It topped album charts in 20 countries, it earned 2 Grammy Awards in 1988 (incl. Album of the Year), it became one of the best selling albums in the world (25+ million copies), and it elevated the Irish band members from 'Heroes' to 'Superstars.' This year, to mark the 30th Anniversary of "The Joshua Tree," U2 will be embarking on a huge tour that will have the band performing all of the epic record at every concert. Additonally, fans can expect the release of the eagerly-anticipated box set in June, shortly after the tour begins in May. Although a 'remastered' version of "The Joshua Tree" was reissued for it's 20th Anniversary in 2007, it will not come close to the new, 30th Anniversary Box Set...U2 Fans will have a choice of configurations: Standard, a 2-disc Deluxe Set, and a Super-Deluxe Box Set. (Fans can view/pre-order the U2 Set HERE: http://bit.ly/2n6ZkwT) Included will be the entire, original, 'Joshua Tree' album, a wealth of B-sides, Demos, studio outtakes, and a complete 1987 concert that was recorded in 1987 at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The Super-Deluxe Box will also feature an 84-page hardcover book. U2's Concert Tour will play in North America and Europe, and it will be the first time that U2 has toured in support of a back-catalogue album rather than a new recording.
