The hard-rockin' Sacramento, California band TESLA continue to enjoy their heritage career, and while they are looking forward to rockin' some more in 2018, they first wanted to acknowledge, and thank their faithful fans for the past year. TESLA recently posted a 6 1/2 minute video clip, which you can watch below...The band, with 4 of the 5 original members (Jeff Keith, Brian Wheat, Frank Hannon, Troy Lucketta) along with guitarist Dave Rude (he replaced Tommy Skeough in 2006) continue to work on their new LP with DEF LEPPARD's PHIL COLLEN as producer. According to TESLA singer Jeff Keith, Collen has a different approach to recording, with Keith explaining in a recent interview (w/ The Salt Lake Tribune), "With Phil, we'd come in on a given day, work on maybe the bridge on a particular song, work on the chorus on this song, and then work on a verse — all in one day, all on different songs. That was really fun and exciting, 'cause you could put the ideas down, take 'em home, chew on 'em for a couple days… It was really fun doing it in that way, and it's the first time we've ever really done it like that."  The most recent album release from TESLA was last year's 'Mechanical Resonance-Live,' which celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the band's debut album. For 2018, Tesla will once again team up with Def Leppard & Poison for a Summer tour.  Rock On, Tesla!
