In the heartfelt tribute that DONALD FAGEN wrote to his friend, STEELY DAN co-founder/band mate, and college bud, WALTER BECKER, who died earlier this month, he vowed, "I intend to keep the music we created together alive as long as I can with the Steely Dan band."  True to his word, Fagen has announced another dozen STEELY DAN concerts that will start up again in October, and conclude at the end of that month with 3 performances in the UK that also include The Doobie Brothers. (see concert dates below) It was revealed that Becker, who died on September 3rd, had already missed some Steely Dan concert dates, including the Summer's 'Classic East/West' shows due to a recent medical procedure. Before the Dan dates take place however, Donald Fagen will be finishing up a tour of his solo outfit, Donald Fagen & the Nightflyers, which have dates scheduled thru most of September... Rock On!
