The early recordings from legendary Rock singer, (Sir) ROD STEWART, have already been issued in a wonderful set from 2002 called, ‘Reason To Believe: The Complete Mercury Recordings…’    The 5 LPs (The Rod Stewart Album, Gasoline Alley, Every Picture Tells A Story, Never A Dull Moment, and Smiler) were released on Mercury records between the years 1969-1974, when Stewart emerged from stints in the Jeff Beck Group and Faces with 5 incredible studio works. Combining elements of rock, blues, folk, country, and soul music, the albums showcased his amazing talent as a singer, songwriter, producer, and arranger. After leaving Mercury records, Rod Stewart signed with Warner Brothers records in 1975, where he would remain for the next 26 years, cranking out 14 studio albums with many memorable hit songs, receiving critical acclaim and worldwide success. That very fertile and successful period in the iconic singer’s career is being collected in a new box set simply titled, ‘The Studio Albums 1975-2001,’ and will be available from Rhino/Warner Records starting September 13th.  Check the list of the included albums below!
