If you're a LED ZEP Fan, chances are you might have a book or 3 on the band on your bookshelf. And maybe you're keeping a shelf spot open for the memoirs or an autobiography of singer, ROBERT PLANT...well, feel free to fill that spot 'cause, according to Robert himself, there ain't gonna be no book! This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who follows the legendary singer and his incredible, adventurous, musical journey post-Led Zeppelin...Plant has made no secret of the fact that he prefers to look thru the windshield and not at the rear view mirror. As he has continuously eschewed the idea of any kind of Led Zeppelin reunion, he similarly dismisses the notion of recounting stories from the past, saying that to do so would be akin to becoming part of a 'culture' that he's always tried to reject...In an interview with Classic Rock, Plant recalled how, when younger, he (and many other Hippies) were ostracized by the 'Establishment:' “We were representing a challenge to the order. So, do we want to chum up and cuddle up on the whole idea of going to a publisher and telling stories? I mean, what – who – for? Those stories are locked nicely between my two ever-growing ear holes. So f--- it. There’s a lot in there, and that’s where it’s staying.”  In the meantime, Robert will continue touring in support of his latest solo album, 'Carry Fire,' and while he is comfortable continuing to give interviews, the has absolutely zero interest in taking it any further with a book. Rock On, Robert Plant!
