Back in 1982, OZZY OSBOURNE, whose copious consumption of drink and drugs was well documented and publicized, famously (while under 'the influence') bit the head off a live bat that was thrown onstage at a concert in Des Moines, Iowa. His error in thinking that the bat was fake was quickly realized when, as Ozzy states in his 2009 memoir, 'I Am Ozzy,' “Immediately… something felt wrong. Very wrong. For a start, my mouth was instantly full of this warm, gloopy liquid, with the worst aftertaste you could ever imagine. I could feel it staining my teeth and running down my chin. Then the head in my mouth twitched.”  (Ewwwwwww!) In it's death throes, the unfortunate critter managed to bite Ozzy in his mouth, requiring an arduous regimen of rabies treatment. The 12" stuffed toy bat (with detachable head!) is priced at $40 (the first run has already sold out!), and can be ordered HERE.   Alllll-righty then!
