Even though it's been 30 years since his death, the Legacy of AC/DC's charismatic, hard-partyin' lead singer, BON SCOTT remains as strong as ever.  AC/DC's career is usually spilt into 2 eras that reflect each of the band's lead singers, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, and while all of AC/DC's patented brand of Rock/Boogie/Blues remain popular, it seems to me that there has always been slightly more affection for the songs that Bon sang...NOT to take anything away from BRIAN JOHNSON, it's just that Bon was the guy at the beginning of the band's incredible, long-lived, successful career, and gave the band their original identity. Soon, a new biography of Bon Scott will help to separate the fact from the fiction of the late singer's legacy, and the murky circumstances of his death in February of 1980 from 'alcohol poisoning.' The book, titled "The Last Highway: The Untold Story of Bon Scott and AC/DC’s Back in Black,"  was written by author, JESSE FINK. Mr. Fink is pretty familiar with the Aussie Hard Rockers, having authored "The Youngs: The Brothers Who Built AC/DC" about Angus & Malcolm Young in 2015. Of the new book about Bon Scott, Author Fink says that it's “the biggest book I’ve ever written,” and he hints that it’ll focus on “the story of Bon’s years in America, 1977-79, and his mysterious death in England in 1980.”  The Press release for the book, which is set for publication in early November, also boasts “unprecedented access” — not only to people from Scott’s personal life, but “newly unearthed documents” as well as “a trove of never-before-seen photos” culminating in “startling new information about Bon’s last hours to solve the mystery of how he died.”
