When you're back on a tour of the U.S. after a 10 year lay-off (and 20 years removed from playing stadiums), you wanna make sure you make, and leave a great, lasting impression with your fans...and that's exactly what METALLICA did last night in Baltimore on the opening night of the band's "WorldWired Tour!" Backed by stories-tall video screens, and a pyrotechnic show of gigantic proportion, the reigning Kings of Metal treated the faithful to a high-energy, high-volume, 18-song set that featured 5 of the new songs from "Hardwired...To Self Destruct," as well as a varied selection of some of the biggest songs in their past catalog. (see setlist below) The North American leg of the tour will go until mid-August, and after a 2 week break, METALLICA will resume their tour in Europe & Scandanavia, which will keep them on the road (with breaks scheduled in-between) until May of 2018... Rock On!
