Shortly before his death this past December, GREG LAKE of Prog-Rock Giants, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, finished writing his memoirs, and the book, titled "Lucky Man," is set for release this Spring. The press release from the publisher, Little-Brown, states that the book, written in Greg Lake's own words, "will chart both the highs and lows of a career in rock music." The book company's publishing director, Andreas Campomar, says "the memoir also reflects on the death of Keith Emerson last year and living with terminal cancer and the end of life." Greg Lake's long-time manager, Stewart Young added : "I have been Greg’s manager and close friend since 1972. In 2014 Greg was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He told me he was going to write his autobiography and it had to be in his own words. He had no regrets."
