ROGER WATER's new solo album, "Is This The Life We Really Want?" is getting closer to it's release date of June 2nd, and the former PINK FLOYD performer has just issued the 2nd song from what will be his 1st solo album release in 25 years... The song, "Deja Vu," offers a more subdued Waters, and might remind the listener of some of the songs he wrote and performed on the PINK FLOYD albums, "The Wall," & "The Final Cut." It is a different approach than Water's exhibited in the album's first single, "Smell The Roses," which was made public earlier in April. As was the case for Water's 3 previous solo efforts, social themes and political rants factor in to the new album's make-up. In talking about the theme of his new album, Roger Water's commented that "the record ponders not just why we are killing the children, it’s also the question of how do we take these moments of love – if we are granted any in our lives – and allow that love to shine on the rest of existence, on others.” Additionally, the press release for the album calls it “an unflinching commentary on the modern world and uncertain times.”  Water's "Us & Them North American Tour" kicks off on May 26th, and Waters has mentioned that the concerts will feature Pink Floyd songs in addition to his solo material. Rock On!
