KANSAS, currently on the road through the end of the year, have announced the upcoming release of 'Leftoverture-Live & Beyond,' a new 'live' set that was recorded during the Heritage Rock band's 40th Anniversary tour for their most critically acclaimed and successful album. The new album (with a release date of November 3rd) will be available on digital formats as well as double-disc CD and a 4-LP vinyl box, and for the production duties for the album, KANSAS turned to the same guy who produced the original (studio) 'Leftoverture' album, JEFF GLIXMAN. Drummer PHIL EHART (one of only 2 original members left in the band) says, “When we saw how much our fans enjoyed the Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour shows, we knew we had to record a live album. When it came to finding someone to produce it, we thought the best possible person would be the guy that produced Leftoverture 40 years ago. So we called Jeff Glixman!”  Ehart goes on to exclaim, “I’m really excited with how this live album sounds. This band is on fire. Producing this live album was truly an undertaking, but I am confident that Kansas fans will enjoy the end result." KANSAS Fans can pre-order the set (starting Aug. 23rd) via the band's official website. Rock On!
