In observance of it's upcoming 40th Anniversary, 'The Grateful Dead Movie' will be featured on the 'big screen' for one night only on April 20th (4/20!). The 1977 movie was a chronicle of The GRATEFUL DEAD's 5-night run (1974) at the legendary, San Francisco concert hall, Winterland. The film, which was a labor of love for, and directed by JERRY GARCIA, runs just over 2 hours in length, and at the special screening, it will also include some very cool 'extras.' In addition to the full-length film, Dead Heads can also expect to see a 30-minute, 1977 documentary, as well as a 'mini-documentary' about the legendary 1977 Cornell University concert, and best of all, IMO, is a trailer for the upcoming 4-hour GRATEFUL DEAD Documentary, "Long, Strange Trip." The new film is due to be released soon, and in May, the band is issuing a 40th Anniversary box set of a series of FOUR 1977 shows that includes, for the first time in complete form, the 'soundboard' recording of the Cornell show!

'The Grateful Dead Movie' WILL be shown in Rochester, N.Y.!  Find theater locations & purchase tickets HERE: http://bit.ly/2o8MQkK
