GIBSON Guitars, known around the world for it's iconic line of acoustic and electric guitars (Les Paul, SG Custom, Firebird, Flying V, etc.), now presents it's own on-line TV network, dubbed Gibson TV. With programming "dedicated to guitars and music culture," Gibson TV, which is being hosted on YouTube, will present a variety of series that will deviate from the usual subjects of gear demonstrations, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. Among some of the features: The Scene-a travel and lifestyle series that takes viewers on the road for peeks at some of the hottest and most 'storied' music halls in the U.S. The Process-shows you how guitars are made from the factory floor, with the 1st season focused (naturally) on the Gibson facility in Nashville. My First Gibson-will have a variety of musical luminaries describing just that. There's also The Songbook, featuring acoustic music performances, and of course, the coolest, and rarest-of -the-rare Gibson axes (as well as other guitar brands) will be spotlighted on the series show, The Collection. (watch a segment of The Collection below!) Gibson's Cesar Gueikian, who is chief merchant officer of Gibson Brands, indicated that this is only just the beginning for Gibson TV. In his statement, Mr. Gueikan said, "Our objective is to make the journey of making music matter more than ever through storytelling. Music lovers around the world will now have access to engaging shows, created with iconic artists, on Gibson TV."  In addition to being available on YouTube, Gibson TV can also be seen at the Gibson website, where all of the shows will be archived.
