Freddie Mercury Movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Will Premiere At Wembley Arena

Located next to site of Queen's 1985 Live Aid performance

“Twentieth Century Fox and Regency Enterprises are delighted to announce that the World Premiere for feature film 'Bohemian Rhapsody' will be held at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018."  So reads the opening line of the statement announcing the premeire of the upcoming FREDDIE MERCURY biopic, 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' The eagerly awaited and anticipated film will be shown at the venue right next door to where QUEEN performed in 1985 at the Live Aid Festival.In addition to the film's cast, which includes Freddie portrayer, RAMI MALEK, it was also confirmed that Queen members BRIAN MAY and ROGER TAYLOR will also walk the red carpet on the night of the premiere. Additionally, the film debut will also benefit the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which supports global HIV/AIDS efforts. The SSE Arena is adjacent to the original Wembley Stadum which was torn down in 2003. Coincidenatlly, Remi Malek recently revealed in an interview that the re-created Live Aid scenes were the first to be filmed for the movie. Queen members also announced an October 19th release date for the 'Bohemain Rhapsody' soundtrack which will include some previously unreleased recordings. Check the song listings below.
