The legendary Rainbow Theater in London has been host through the decades to many incredible shows from some of Music's most popular and legendary performers...with many of those performances recorded and released commercially. In April of 1978, U.S./British hybrid band FOREIGNER, in support of their self-titled debut album, played the Rainbow, performing all 10 tracks from the 'Foreigner' LP. That performance was captured on film and is set to be released on home video on March 15th. Titled 'Live At The Rainbow '78,' the DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital Download features all of Foreigner's debut album as well as 2 more songs that would end up on their next album, 'Double Vision.'  The new set boasts sound that's been remixed and remastered from the original film reels. In a press release announcing the release of 'Live At The Rainbow '78,' Foreigner's Mick Jones said, "1978 was an absolutely magical time for the band, and to come back over to the U.K. to play a headline show at the legendary Rainbow really was a dream come true. The audience was amazing that night. We couldn't have wished for a better show.”

Here's a look/listen to Foreigner in 1978 (at CalJam '78) a month before their show at The Rainbow Theater.
