Although the 30th Anniversary of DEF LEPPARD's blockbuster 4th album 'Hysteria' has now passed, don't expect the most successful album of the English band's career (more than 25 million copies sold world-wide) to just fade away... No, the celebration of 'Hysteria' will apparently carry over into 2018, with DEF LEP announcing recently that the band is planning to tour in 2018 and include complete performances of 'Hysteria' at every stop! This follows on the heels of the very-well received 30th anniversary Deluxe box set of 'Hysteria' which includes a wealth of bonus materials. Singer JOE ELLIOT, in an interview w/ Forbes (via the web site Blabbermouth) said of 'Hysteria,' “having an album like Hysteria is kind of like having a tattoo — you make that decision, and we lived this album pretty much every day of our lives since then. … It’s an important statement by the band … and luckily for us it remains one. That’s the great thing about it — it’s not one of these records that sold really well, then fell off the planet. It stayed alive, the way Hotel California or Rumours or Led Zeppelin 4 did.” Rock On!
