DEEP PURPLE The Latest 'Classic Rockers' Talkin' Retirement

The 'Long Goodbye Tour' to start November 2017

December 2, 2016

The time seems right. 2017 will be DEEP PURPLE's 50th Anniversary, and their 20th album, 'Infinite' is set for release in the new year. One of the 'cornerstones' (IMO) of British Hard Rock, Deep Purple has weathered more than a few personnel changes over the years, of course, the most notable being the departure of founding guitarist, Ritchie Blackmore. Blackmore recently performed his first concerts (with Rainbow)  in many years in Germany recently. For the last 20 years, Guitarist Steve Morse has helped guide the band into the new Millennium with his own brand of fiery guitar, and it is with the current line-up of Purple that they will hit the road for the "Long Goodbye Tour,' starting in November of 2017. So far, only a handful of concert dates (all in the UK) have been announced, but it's expected that there will be more coming...stay tuned & Rock On!
