In the past, GUNS N' ROSES were notorious for starting shows late...very late. Sometimes, the tardiness of the start of the concerts was largely due to the tardiness of the performers, and that often led to some angry crowds, which sometimes led to violence and destruction.  These days with GN'R, that doesn't happen anymore, as all of the Guns N' Roses shows on their 'Not In This Lifetime Tour,' have started on time with all band members showing up on-time to work as well!  However, the other night in Hannover, Germany, the Gunners show did start late, and there was a 90-minute delay in the middle of the show! The reasons? 1) The band decided to wait 15 extra minutes so that all of the 20,000 fans could get into the concert hall and 2) a torrential downpour in the middle of the set necessitated a (temporary) halt in the performance... BUT...the crowd was rewarded for their 'patience' when GUNS N' ROSES returned to the stage with their pal, ANGUS YOUNG of AC/DC! As he did when GN'R was in his home country of Australia, Angus played "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Riff Raff" with the band to the great delight of those in attendance. You can watch the video of "Whole Lotta Rosie" below... In other GUNS N' ROSES news, with the band getting their own satellite channel, they are celebrating with a special 'invitation only' show at the fabled Apollo Theater in Harlem (NYC) that will take place in July, right before the U.S. leg of the tour resumes... Rock On!
