Veteran Rocker, ALICE COOPER, who is like the damn Energizer Bunny, has a NEW album coming (his 27th overall) in July! The new album, the Rocker's first since 2011, is titled, "Paranormal," and features guest performances from ZZ TOP's Billy Gibbons, U2 Drummer, Larry Mullen Jr. , and as previously revealed, 3 former members of Alice's ORIGINAL band-DENNIS DUNAWAY, NEAL SMITH, & MICHAEL BRUCE. (They appear on 3 of the new album's tracks) Working with long-time producer, BOB EZRIN, Alice is not preoccupied with 'hit singles' or album sales, and he assures his long-time fans that this is a record that he has recorded for them: I have a world of fans out there, and it took me 45 years to build that fan base. So when I make records now, I’m making them for those people. I’m not trying to break a new audience.” ALICE COOPER is touring with his solo band throughout the rest of the year as well as appearing at a bunch of shows also featuring DEEP PURPLE & The EDGAR WINTER Group. And what of his OTHER side group, The HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES? After fellow bandmate JOHNNY DEPP completes his obligations to various film schedules, he and Guitarist JOE PERRY are planning to reconvene with Mr. Cooper for a follow-up to their debut album, this time including more original songs than their first, which featured many 'cover' versions... Rock On!
