AEROSMITH has 'back-pedaled' a bit on whether or not the heritage rockers will mount a "Farewell Tour" in the U.S., with JOE PERRY stating recently (and repeatedly) that he felt that the band may still "have 1 or 2 albums left in them..." So, don't look for the "Bad Boys of Boston" on the road here in the States in the near future, HOWEVER...AEROSMITH is proceeding with their European "Farewell Tour" that they have dubbed, "Aero-Vederci," and they kicked off their months-long international jaunt yesterday in Israel. More than 50,000 fans showed in Tel Aviv for Aerosmith's 1st show in Israel in more than 20 years, and they were treated not only to a selection of some of the bands most recognizable, successful, and well-loved songs, but also a few surprises in their set as well...included for the first time in over a decade was the Fleetwood Mac classic, "Oh Well," and "Hangman Jury," the deep track from 1987's "Permanent Vacation" album. (first time in 6+ years) The "Aero-Verderci" Tour will have AEROSMITH performing overseas until early July, with the next few dates scheduled in Russia, Germany, and Scandinavia. Check out the opening night setlist below... Rock On!
