So, you're getting on in years, you've lost (a good part of) your hearing, and as a result, you've been "retired" from the Rock band you fronted for more than 30 years...What's a Hard Rockin' Singer to DO?! If you are BRIAN JOHNSON, formerly of AC/DC, you get ready to host your own TV show! "Brian Johnson's Life on the Road" is the show, and it will debut on Britain's Sky Arts on April 28th, and the innaugural guest will be The WHO's ROGER DALTREY! (http://bit.ly/2oC6VV5) A description of the first show reads, “While on the road, The Who were second to none in terms of rock and roll mayhem — it was a non-stop carnival of drugs, groupies, and wrecked hotel rooms. Brian and Roger’s conversation turns to The Who’s 1969 album Tommy and subsequent tour — and how it transformed The Who from a quirky, antagonistic art-rock band into stadium-filling rock gods.” To date, only 4 episodes are planned, with scheduled guests including LARS ULRICH of METALLICA, JOE ELLIOT of DEF LEPPARD, PINK FLOYD's NICK MASON, & ROBERT PLANT! While there are no current plans for broadcast of "Brian Johnson's Life on the Road" in the U.S., it shouldn't be too hard to find on-line after it's initial broadcast in the U.K. Rock On!
