A new, 50th Anniversary box set celebrating the music and historic reign of The ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND is set for release at the end of February. 'Trouble No More: 50th Anniversary Collection' was named after the Muddy Water's blues classic which was also the very first song that The Brothers jammed on together. Chronologically sequenced over 5 CDs/10 LPs, the 61 song collection is bookended by 2 versions of 'Trouble No More,' opening with a 1969 demo recording of the song, and ending with the live performance of it at the close of their 2014 Farewell Concert at the Beacon Theater in NYC. Of the 61 songs in the set, there are 7 that are previously unreleased, and there are some very cool 'live' performances included from Watkins Glen (1973), Mar Y Sol in Puerto Rico (1972), and of course from The Fillmore East concerts (1971) and the Beacon. Also included are a wealth of Allmans photos and memorabilia from The Big House Museum in Macon, Georgia. If you go for the vinyl version, you'll also get a wood veneer slipcase with gold lettering. Pre-Orders for 'Trouble No More: 50th Anniversary Collection' can be placed here. Check out the complete track listing below along with an 'unboxing' video for the set! Rock ON, Allman Brothers Band!
