Just Like A Boss

February 6, 2017

"The Boss" apparently couldn't help but take another shot at President Trump last week. During the E Street Band's concert in Melbourne, Australia, Springsteen made a pointed, if not tongue-in-cheek reference, to President Trump's abrupt and heated telephone conversation with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull about the President's refugee ban. Springsteen told the crowd, "We stand before you embarrassed Americans tonight...we're gonna use this to send a letter back home" and opened the show with an acoustic version of the Orlons' 1962 song "Don't Hang Up.”
