September 7, 2016

There are songs that get stuck in your head and you can't get them out. And if you're a Queen fan, you're well aware of "Earworms" because according to SCIENCE! (I just like saying it that way) Queen has 3 songs that among "Earworms" are the most infectious. Meaning, Queen is the big winner a new, scientific study of the most addictive songs of all time.

Research by the University of St. Andrews in Scotland named Queen's "We Will Rock You" the top earworm of all time and they had three song in the Top 10, including "We Are The Champions" at No. 3 and "Bohemian Rhapsody" at No. 5.

Also in the Top 20 were: Europe's "the Final Countdown," No. 7; Bon Jovi’s "Livin' On A Prayer," No. 8; and Journey's "Don't Stop Believin', No. 13.

The study measured melody, rhythmic repetition, predictability, surprise and listener receptiveness, and it will be used for an upcoming ad by condiment maker Heinz.

The full Top 20 includes:
