Watkins misses practice with sore foot

November 30, 2016

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins was a late scratch from practice after complaining about soreness in his surgically repaired left foot.

The Bills made the announcement following practice on Wednesday, saying Watkins was held out when he expressed a concern to the team's training staff. Head coach Rex Ryan was expecting Watkins to practice on a limited basis before the team took the field.

It is unclear yet of how serious the injury is, and it is not known whether the injury will affect Watkins' status for Sunday.

Watkins made three catches for 80 yards in a 28-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. It was his first game action since Week 2 against the New York Jets.
