Bogosian is looking forward to this season

Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - Zach Bogosian spent his summer playing in the same Minnesota summer league as Casey Mittelstadt, Hudson Fasching and Kyle Okposo. It's a very good league to help keep many NHL players sharp.

Bogosian is back in Buffalo and is very much looking forward to this season. He thinks circumstances have caused him to have a few poor seasons, but the changes that are coming on defense will help fix that, “I'm excited for all the changes. Everyone gets a fresh start, I think it's something that we needed to move into the right direction and I think Jason and Phil are doing their best to get everything on the right track.”

“I know just talking to the guys throughout the summer , everyone is really excited to get back.”

Phil Housley did wonders with the defensemen the past four seasons in Nashville and Bogosian can't wait to work with him, “In my short conversations I've had with him, I really like where he's going and where he's coming from.” “Skating is definitely my strong point,” Bogosian said. “Last year and the year before I felt like I was handcuffed back there. I don't think I got a chance to play my game in the way I know I can play and I'm just looking forward to a new start and play my game which is jumping up into the play.”

“I think he'll be good for my game, I think the last two years for me has been frustrating and disappointing, so I went into the summer with a little different attitude and obviously the changes happened, so I'm looking forward to playing with Phil and the coaching staff.“
