Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - Buffalo Sabres defensemen Zach Bogosian and Rasmus Ristolainen returned to the ice with their teammates for Wednesday’s optional skate.

Bogosian has not played at all this season with a lower-body injury, while Ristolainen has missed eight games with an upper-body injury.

Matt Tennyson also returned to the ice. He's been on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

The Sabres are getting healthier as Jacob Josefson may return tonight after missing 15 games with a sprained ankle.

Buffalo has been reeling lately, going 0-4-2 in the last six games and 1-5-2 in the last eight. In those last eight games, Buffalo has scored just 14 goals.

The last game was a 3-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday. Buffalo slept walked through the first 55 minutes and then poured it on and scored twice to make it close.

Jack Eichel is still struggling to score, as he has just one goal in 12 games.

Minnesota comes in with points in five of six games (4-1-1).

Join Schopp and the Bulldog at 6 p.m. for the pre-game from (716) Food and Sport as they'll be joined by Phil Housley, Marcus Foligno and Tyler Ennis.
