The Buffalo Bills went into Sunday's road game against the Minnesota Vikings as huge underdogs, but Josh Allen and the rest of the team weren't having any of it.

In one of the biggest upsets of the early season, the Bills beat down the Vikings 27-6 and recorded their first win of the season at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota.

Josh Allen was fantastic from the start of the game and finished the contest 15-of-22 for 196 yards, one touchdown through the air and two touchdowns on the ground. In the first half alone, Allen went 11-of-18 for 168 yards in the air, while carrying the ball seven times for 37 yards and leading Buffalo to a 27-0 lead.

Buffalo wasted no time to start the game as they marched down the field and put seven points on the board with Allen's first career rushing touchdown. While the drive was aided by a pair of Vikings penalties, the Bills took their first lead of the 2018 season on the opening drive with a 10-yard diving touchdown from Allen.

The Bills also got some help from the defense as they got to Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins for a pair of sacks and forced a pair of fumbles. The first fumble forced ended in a field goal from Stephen Hauschka and a 10-0 lead after Kelvin Benjamin dropped a pass that would have put the Bills on the Minnesota one-yard line.

The second forced fumble ended with Allen capitalizing on a two-play drive with a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jason Croom, and a 17-0 lead only 10 minutes into the game.

The Bills got the second quarter off to a great start as Allen ran for his second touchdown of the day on a quarterback sneak on a 4th-and-goal at the Vikings' one-yard-line. That capped off an 11-play drive to give the Bills a 24-0 lead. The Bills added another Stephen Hauschka field goal to make it 27-0, starting the game with five straight scoring drives to put the game out of hand fast.

The Bills held strong defensively in the third quarter as Matt Milano came up with an interception of Cousins shortly after the Vikings finally crossed midfield. Overall, the Bills defense ended up forcing three turnovers of Cousins, as well as sacking him four times.

Cousins and the Vikings did end the shutout with a late touchdown to Kyle Rudolph to end the scoring at 27-6.

The Bills will next travel to Green Bay to face the Packers next Sunday at Lambeau Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with John Murphy, Mark Kelso and Sal Capaccio on the call on WGR.
