The Bills have made a roster move, releasing punter Cory Carter and claiming linebacker Jeff Holland from the Arizona Cardinals.

Holland spent time with the Broncos last season, dressing for three games. He was waived by the Arizona Cardinals yesterday.

As for Cory Carter, he suffered a season ending knee injury during the preseason last year, and dealt with injuries again in recent weeks. His release means that Corey Bojorquez is the lone punter on the roster. Does that mean he'll be the Bills punter on opening day? He hasn't quite been so good that that can be assumed.

Just because the Bills released Cory Carter and Corey Bojorquez is the only punter on the team doesn't mean he's the punter on opening day. I'm not convinced they don't claim someone next week after cuts, just as they did Bojorquez last year.

One punter that is on the market is long time Patriots punter Ryan Allen. He is 29-years old and a potential option for the Bills. Allen was busy in this past Super Bowl, punting five times for 215 yards, with three pinning the Rams inside the 10-yard line, in New England's 13-3 win.
