Even for a Wednesday, the list of Bills' players either out of practice or limited due to injury was notable.
Head coach Rex Ryan addressed the media before the session and gave everyone the anticipated list, but there were a couple changes late.  The final tally looked like this:
Did Not Practice
WR Robert Woods (knee)
WR Percy Harvin (illness)
WR Sammy Watkins (foot)
LB Lorenzo Alexander (ankle)
TE Charles Clay (knee)
OT Cordy Glenn (back)
CB Ronald Darby (concussion protocol)
S James Ihedigbo (ankle)
OG Richie Incognito (neck)
RB Mike Gillislee (hamstring)
LB Preston Brown (wrist)
S Sergio Brown (hamstring)
OG John Miller (shoulder)
DT Marcell Dareus (abdominal)
Watkins was originally expected to be limited, but was held out after telling the training staff he had a sore foot.  He did take part in stretching and individual position work, but those parts of practice are not counted for participation purposes.  For more on that situation click here.

Additionally, Ryan noted Zach Brown has a hand issue but was expected to be a full participant headed into the practice session, then afterward told the media QB Tyrod Taylor practiced in full although he told trainers he had a sore groin.
Typically, both lists are longer on Wednesdays than they are other days as players recover from minor ailments the previous game and rest anything that may be bothering them at all throughout the season.  But the names and numbers this week were still eye-catching.
Ryan gave encouraging news on Dareus saying "I think he's going to be ok" for the game Sunday at Oakland.  Dareus didn't finish the team's 28-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday after experiencing an abdominal issue.  "He feels confident he's going to be ready to roll," Ryan added.
