Andre Roberts misses Wednesday's practice with quad injury

September 4, 2019

The first official injury report of the season is out for the Buffalo Bills and the only players listed are tight end Tyler Kroft, who is still recovering from ankle surgery, and wide receiver Andre Roberts, who sat out with a quad injury.

Roberts had been practicing regularly up until Wednesday, so the injury is a new one. Roberts was a first-team All-Pro kick returner last season for the New York Jets, the Bills' opponent on Sunday.

For the Jets, their injury list is longer, but no one sat out. Four players were limited, including wide receiver Robby Anderson (calf), cornerback Trumaine Johnson (hamstring), wide receiver/punt returner Braxton Berrios (hamstring), and offensive lineman Brian Winters (shoulder).

Injury report: Anderson and Johnson were limited, but expected to play. #Jets
